Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve day! It is already that time of year again. As I love to give Christmas cards, I thought I would turn this week's post into a note of gratitude and support to all of my readers.
What I Learned From Holiday Season Traffic
The holiday season brings congestion everywhere - at shopping malls, on the roads, even at the grocery stores. People are out trying to find the perfect present for their loved ones. This means, though, that the parking lots and routes to these major centres are packed with holiday season traffic. It may seem like the whole city is out shopping!
During this festive season, I usually try to plan to go shopping for my gifts at off hours or to order things online to avoid the crowds and congestion. However, this past weekend I found myself in a jammed traffic lineup while merging onto the highway.
You've Received a Holiday Card
Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!!! This is one of my favourite times of the year.
My favourite gifts to receive at Christmas, other than spending time with those I care about, are cards. I love hearing people's updates on their lives and the simple action of telling me that they care means a lot. It doesn't matter if the card comes in an email or paper format - the point is they sent it. I have a box of all the cards I have been sent over the years. They mean a lot to me.
December Reflections
Well, this year I feel like that is happening to me in terms of my true authentic voice. It wants to speak and share with others. My inner voice is trying hard to be heard; it keeps making noise so that I will listen to it. Therefore, by writing and sharing; I am nourished and strengthened.
Strengthening our souls, using our voices, and nourishing our authentic selves are as essential to living a healthy life as eating is.
Since I love sharing with others, I am passing this knowledge on to you. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends!
