Leaving Your Mark in the Sand
What are some of your traditions when you go on vacation? I like to leave my mark in the sand.
This past weekend, while looking at some photos, I realized there are common activities my sisters and I tend to engage in when we travel anywhere. Usually at the beach, after dipping our feet in the water, we make a mark in the sand and take a picture of it. I have a tendency to write the name of the city I am in followed by the year visited. Have a look at a few examples of imprints I have made over the years:
Being inspired by my past vacations and the photos I have taken, I came up with an idea. Since I love travelling and teaching others to value themselves, I came up with a new tradition and I’m inviting you to join in. We should write the words Stand Tall and the current year in the sand. I encourage you to leave your mark on your upcoming travels and then take a picture and send it to me by posting it on the Facebook Page.
By leaving those words on the sand, you are leaving your mark and providing inspiration to fellow beachcombers.
