Happy Holidays Everyone!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday with your friends and family.

I have had a great one and ate way too much. I'm now recovering from a turkey coma.   The best gift that I got was the Presence of my family and friends. My saying is, "Presence is the BEST Present."

It's a great time to catch up with people you haven't seen in a while.  Most of the comments that I got this year from many friends and family were about my blog. They read the stories that I have shared, and started telling me stories of their lives :) I was so touched as I crave connection and have a hard time with superficial conversations.  One of my biggest pet peeves is when you see someone that you haven't seen in years and all they talk about is the weather.  Therefore, my challenge for you over the holiday season and the coming years is to reach out and hear the stories and experiences of the people in your life. While the holidays are an exciting and happy time for many people, they can also be a lonely, depressing, and hard time for people.  It can be a time where people are sad because they are missing people and relationships.   Take time this holiday season to show people you really care.

I am really flattered that you enjoy my blog and I look forward to catching up with you all more in 2012 and hearing more of your stories.  Thanks for all your encouragement and support. I'm excited to connect with you.

Thank you for reading and your presence at this beach retreat. You Rock! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts in the comment section below.

See you at the beach!
